Salary for this teaching assistant role is dependant on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position is 6 weeks experience working with children or young people with Team teach training (although this can be offered free of charge through Vision for Education).

The Role:

Vision for Education are currently working with various settings across Calderdale who still have teaching assistant vacancies available for a January start. The roles will involve supporting young people who require social, emotional and mental health support and may display challenging behaviours.

Requirements for this Teaching assistant - Pupil Referral Unit role:

Have experience of working 1:1 and in classroom environments within the past 2 years (Vision need to be able to obtain relevant references)
